What we do in activities-guidance
In principle, we assume that all activities are accessible to people with auditory and visual impairments. It is our goal to provide the right adjustments and support. The activities are usually offered in small groups.
Labor Activation
For many people there is no place in the regular employment or sheltered employment. But the need to work and to contribute to the society is manifest. Each client works in his / her own pace and ability. The labor activation has several working groups: paper, ceramics, mosaic, administration, candles and industrial work. These groups produce handicraft products, made for sale.
Exploring the possibilities for working in sheltered employment is also possible.
Activities centre
The activity centre offers an array of creative, educational and leisure activities. There is a "walk-in" activity, where encounter and contact with each other are the main goals. A varied program is offered. Hobby groups also exist. Clients can be creative in these groups. We provide music activities, where music is made active, e.g. on percussion instruments. A passive form of music experience, through the experience of vibration, provides a form of relaxation for many. Sensory activities we offer in particular in the context of the entertainment but also as a means of contacting. Foot or facial massage and cooking a meal as well stimulate our senses. Movement activities are for the young and old. Where does one gymnastics from his chair, the other is to work intensively on the fitness equipment.
Education and information
In the courses we offer, information and education come first. For a defined period, a topic is explained. The topics for a course can be diverse: for example, "Who I vote?" Or "What kinds of belief do exist?".
Even a new technology such as working with soapstone or creating a mosaic piece can be learned.
